Adam Pickard is an established music teacher and all-round musician specialising in Acoustic, Electric and Bass guitars. Whether it’s rock, blues, funk or acoustic that you want to learn, and whatever your age or ability, Adam can show you how to achieve your goals in an enjoyable and engaging way.
Adam has taught students all around the globe since 2012. He currently teaches students who have had number 1 hits, co-written with Taylor Swift, played with Buddy Guy and many more that play at home, just for fun.
You may wish to learn your favourite songs for fun, or you may prefer a more structured approach taking the recognised exams as you progress. The choice is yours. Adam runs private 1 on 1 lessons from his dedicated studio in Staines-Upon-Thames; whether face to face, or online.
All active students have full access to our community; ‘The Lounge‘ – 3x 30-minute online group sessions per week, held on Zoom, free of charge. The Lounge sessions are relaxed and supportive spaces where students can ask, share, perform, connect and listen.
Every student has their own Personal Guitar Folder. You’ll receive a link to your private folder, where I upload Lesson Recordings, Lesson Recaps, PDF’s and more, to support your progress between lessons.
About your tutor
Academy of Contemporary Music trained Adam Pickard is RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors) accredited. He has extensive experience within the industry gained through live session work for major label artist Sony BMG, performing at The o2 and studio engineering for top selling label Universal. He regularly performs at Weddings and Functions in the UK and Europe.
Adam also enjoys songwriting and has had several songs recorded and released through Metropolis Studios. Retail shops, restaurants and TV shows both here and overseas regularly play his songs.
These days, you’ll mainly find Adam tucked away in his studio teaching students all around the world!
